Pipe of the Season
It holds the city. The city pretends this is normal.
It holds the city. The city pretends this is normal.
The pipe of the season is not there for beauty. It lies there because the city is more honest than any gloss: everything important comes out sooner or later.
The pipe has no press release, no stylist and no capsule collection. It does have rust, scale and the calm of someone who knows nobody is going anywhere without it. It crosses the yard like a thought everyone kept postponing.
NARVAL recommends looking at the pipe with respect. This is infrastructure that is not hidden. A rare case of the city showing its insides without insisting it meant to do that.
Technical NARVAL placeholder. This illustration also appears in the "Inside the Issue" block.
Coffee will not save journalism, but it makes it feel less like a tenants' meeting.
